We are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. So, throw off the things that hinder you -- and the sin that entangles you -- and run the race marked out for us.
Fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Make Him, and all that He endured, your model to stay strong and take heart. Hebrews 12:1-3 (paraphrase)
